Ethernet Firmware Updates
Selected PROTEUS and PARAGON fixtures also support firmware updates through their Ethernet connection, providing an alternative to using the E-LOADER III.
Ethernet firmware update capability and procedures may vary depending on the specific fixture model and currently installed firmware version.
Before attempting an Ethernet firmware update:
Confirm compatibility. Verify that Ethernet firmware updating is supported by your exact fixture model and firmware version.
Download the correct firmware. Visit the fixture's product page on ElationLighting.com and download the latest available firmware for that specific model.
Connect via Ethernet. Connect the fixture to the computer using the fixture's Ethernet connection. A direct Ethernet connection may be recommended when performing or troubleshooting an update.
Follow the applicable update instructions. Use the firmware update instructions and Elation update utility specified for your fixture and firmware release.
Never install firmware intended for a different fixture model.
If Ethernet update instructions are not included with the firmware download, or you are unsure whether your fixture supports Ethernet updating, contact Elation Service before proceeding.
